Hello Quincy Voter,

I would like to spend a minute telling you a little bit about myself.

I was brought up in the Hough’s Neck section of Quincy and I attended Atherton Hough Elementary, Broad Meadows Jr. High and Quincy High Vocational Technical School. At Quincy High, I attended the Electrical program and worked for Davis Electric.

I became an indentured apprentice for the electrical industry apprentice training in 1971. Four years later I became a Journeyman Electrician in Massachusetts and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 103. I have worked in the electrical industry and been a member of I.B.E.W. Local 103 ever since.
 

I am the proud father of two Daughters and the Grandfather of 4 children. I really enjoy the time I spend with my grandchildren. Watching them play sports, and just watching them grow. If I knew grand kids were this much fun, I would have had them first.


I am a member of Quincy Yacht Club and I enjoy fishing, boating and the beaches of Ward 1. I especially like it when the Pogies come in because the Stripe Bass are right behind them. There is nothing quite as enjoyable as catching hold of a 40 to 50 inch striper. I hope to see you out enjoying the bays this summer.


I hope to meet you and the other voters in the Ward before Election Day; I enjoy hearing from other voters in the ward and working with people for solutions to the many issues facing our Ward and City. Some people have great ideas but only together can we look for solutions. So when you see me this spring, summer and fall let me hear from you. Your values, your concerns and neighborhood problems are what need the attention of your next Ward Councilor.
